At night a gentle katabatic breeze blows back down the gorge, so you always know which way the braai smoke will blow!
A number of hiking and Mountain bike trails have been laid out on the reserve and a number of overnight huts and bomas are provided to service these trails, which owners may book and use for that “deep bush experience”
The Buffalo breeding program is fenced off separately, so that they do not roam around the greater reserve.
